Yesterday it was in the mid-fifties and sunny. A not an unheard of phenomenon in the Seattle area in February; however, it is rare. Some of my hellebores are opening while others remain shy. In a few months the garden will be full again. Greenhouse primroses add some much needed color for the days like today...gray.
Hope and Hellebores
Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths, Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams. Welcome
Welcome to my blog. This is my first. I plan for it to be a conglomerate of all things I love. Recipes, gardening exploits, DIY, and anything else I feel like posting...like ridiculous pictures of my dog, or pretty fall leaves, or blue taco buffets.
